Law Extravaganza

...or trying to learn as much as possible because what would life be without that?

To follow my journey and maybe get some inspiration for your own, feel free to explore the following activities I did to familiarise myself with numerous aspects of the Law. These articles mostly contain my personal reflections, recommendations, and tips.

Internships

Legal internships can feel like stepping into a whole new world—one where every day presents new challenges and learning opportunities. From the excruciating process of applying to the excitement of landing my first role and the unexpected lessons learned, this is where I document the real-world experiences that shaped my view of the law.

Along the way, I’ll share my reflections, the valuable lessons I picked up along the way, and tips for others who are looking to follow a similar path.

Online Courses

In today’s digital age, learning doesn’t stop in the classroom and courses provide a school-like setting that is comforting for someone who is just getting started. Arguably, doing online courses is one of the most resourceful, fun, and beginner-friendly ways to better one´s knowledge about the Law.

Here, I reflect on the online courses I’ve taken, sharing what they taught me, how they’ve expanded my understanding of law, and whether they’re worth your time as a fellow learner.

Extended reading

Books have a way of deepening our understanding beyond the surface. They tell a story and often provide a much more entertaining approach to learning. As a book lover reading has been one of my game-changers when it comes to independent learning.

So in this section, I review the legal literature that’s expanded my horizons—reflecting on what each book taught me, the questions it raised, and how it fits into my growing knowledge of the law.

Podcasts

There’s something powerful about listening to experts discuss the law in real time, plus it can easily be done anywhere at any time which is crucial when on a busy schedule.

Here, I break down episodes that resonated with me—discussing the stories, interviews, and legal concepts that are helping me see the law from new angles.

Blogs

Sometimes the most profound lessons come from reading the thoughts of others. In this section, I will be breaking down the blogs and articles that have sparked new ideas, challenged my views, or provided clarity on complex legal issues.

My reflections will be as much about my learning process as they are about the content itself.

Court Cases

Being in a courtroom brings legal theory to life like nothing else and it is one of the easiest things to do to see the law in action: Just go to your local court, watch, and learn.

Here, I document my observations from attending real court cases—what surprised me, what inspired me, and how it’s shaping my understanding of legal practice.
